Using this mount on a Yugo-M48?

Can it be done?
I'm no Mauser expert and this specifically says that its for a K98.I would hope to use one on either a "KKALE" Turk or a Yugo M-48.Any thoughts?

Accumount (wrong) meant S&K

I'm not sure who makes the one linked, but S&K makes some well reviewed non-gunsmith mounts for the M48 and 98K rifles. I think a Turkish K. Kale is a 98K variant.

The "scout" style mount is popular with a lot of the mil-surp guys. You do not have to drill and tap the rifle for mounting.

Yes it will work fine. The scope is forward enough so that your straight bolt handle will not hit the scope when chambering a round.

These dont really look strong enough to handle 8mm recoil,but I guess they are.One more question.How do you pick a long eye relief scope for this type of mount?Do you focus on pistol scopes?

#1 I don't buy anything from CTD.

If you want a affordable clone scope I would highly recommend Primary Arms. They have a line of clone scopes that are well made. I have a micro that has held up to big bore pistols. I know several guys using PA stuff on there AR's and they hold up, work well. They also have a very good customer service from what I have read.
