Using Mil magazines in PSS

I've been kicking around the idea of converting a trigger guard to use M14/M1A mags on my PSS(.308). From what I can see visually, there shouldn't be any problems doing this.

Why not just convert/buy a DM type PSS? Well, for one, 5-7 rds just don't do it for me.
 
Robar www.robarguns.com can do a conversion to use M14 mags (20 rounds). However it is quite expensive and runs contrary to the mission of the PSS. It also works against getting into a very LOW prone position.

All in all, it's a pretty bad idea, but if you wish it done, Robar can do it.
