What should I look for? What are areas of this gun prone to wear/damage/fatigue?

It's a .308 Saiga converted with a Tapco butt stock and pistol grip. It has the scope rail and a 25 round magazine.

Has wear on it, but it's only $550.

I think I answered your question elsewhere, but...

Check with the guys on the saiga-12 board about the 308 version.

I built my x39 up. Look for a bullet guide in front of the chamber (not glued in or anything, should see a bolt), a Tapco trigger group and really just anything that doesn't look right.

You're not gonna wear out a Saiga 308, at least not within five digit ammo numbers. $550 is a hell of a deal on a 'converted' Saiga, if it's done right.

So I want there to be a bullet guide or I don't? I thought that was just to get them to use the regular AK mags? This is 308 so it takes odd mags to begin with.
