Need help tonight!! How does $450 sound for a used Model 19 with night sights, factory ported, 98% finish Model 19 Performance Center revolver sound? I have the gun on hold at a retail establishment until tomorrow afternoon! Have seen so few around that I don't know about prices...books don't have P/C adjustments... The action is Soooooo sweet and light! Thanks anyone, for you help!!

20th anniversary of Blue Book Value of Guns says S&W Model 19 in 98% condition for $265. THAT does not include the factory porting job or the night sights. So, are the above mentioned work worth $185 to you? IF so, jump all over it. I can tell you that a porting job would be at least $100 from S&W (I think) and the night sights at current prices should cover the rest. But it's your choice. Hope the info helps.

MTAA..think i will... Wallew, does the value you quoted consider the premium for the "Smith and Wesson Performance Center" logo on the side? I have heard that they do command a much higher price than off the shelf models... thnx

I own one. It is my best revolver by far.
If the timing and trigger pull are as good as mine, $450 is a steal! GOOD LUCK.

I just sold a very nice(98%) M19-2, 4inch for $350. My PC guns have ALL cost me 200-300
more than that.
***GET ME ONE for 450 while you'r at it!......dewey

No, it's a terrible price. Complete rip off. Give me the phone number of the gun store so I can call them up and yell at them ;)

If my memory serves there was a limited run(1000+\-) on these guns if it's the one with the beadblasted finish and a rounded butt. these are excellent and you're getting a hell of a deal.

Thanks guys....Gonzo, it is the bead blasted finish and round butt... Thanks to all of you.. I got it, took it to the range, and--I need some serious practice... I thought it would shoot like my s/a's, but something about the revolver is different.
