Used O/U for Under $1000

For what purpose? You might be able to find a Citori, but it will be a field model and if your goal is target shooting, then that is something completely different

If you want to go classic (i.e. fixed chokes) it is hard to beat the old Marlin 90. Also sold under the Sears Ranger label. That was the best o/u ever produced in America. If you are patient, you can find a well-loved one for less than $500.

A used Browning or Beretta will give you the most gun for the money in my view..../ and don't go with a fixed choke.

last week i bought this used browning 12ga citori off gunbroker for 1098.00 shipped,it has a adjustable comb, ported, invecta plus chokes with 30" barrels. GB #430478004. the citori o/u comes in many models, not just field grade. eastbank.

fedx brought the browning today, i had to shoot it tonight under the lights to check the comb highth and its right on for me, i ran 13-15 under the lights and i,m not to good at night. tomorrow i will shoot a few rounds with it. it looks good with only a few handleing marks. after taking it apart and giveing it a good cleaning i don,t think it was used very much. eastbank

Excellent score Eastbank. Sounds like a great trap gun.

The older Win 101's are great guns for the field, and fit your price bracket.

Can't recommend one for target use tho, they do have a well deserved rep for felt recoil. They are very well built guns.

Have been hearing good things about the new Belgian Win 101's as well.

last night i shot my BT-100 ,25-25 and my new browning o/u, 24-25(i have to get used to the weight) and my browning 20ga bss double, 41-50 for a 90-100 total. i want to start shooting the new browning a lot to get used to the heavier weight as i want to shoot doubles. when i missed last night it was operator error, the shotguns worked perfectly. out of 30 shooters last night over half were shooting brownings. eastbank.
