Used Gun Parts?

I need to buy a new cylinder for my S&W Model 36. I plan to replace it with a stainless cylinder from a Model 60. What can I expect from from buying a cylinder from Numrich. Are their used parts of good quality? Any guarantee?

They don't make any of the arts they sell - picture more like an auto junk yard of sorts for gun parts. They buy guns in various stages of completeness and part them out.

Whether the cylinder you buy will need to be fitted and timed remains to be seen, but they cannot guarantee that. They assume you know what parts you need when you order.

Have you asked S&W for a quote?

I'd send your gun back to S&W. I doubt they'll put a stainless cylinder on a blued gun, but at least it will work well right out of the box.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is'nt a Model 36 a 38 cal. and the Model 60 a 357? Would that be a wise choice?

Mod 60 is a stainless version of the m36. On replacing the cylinder, the star ejector is the key to timing. It must be mated with the hand.

Need, or want?

Why would you need, what's wrong with the gun?

Again, why?
