Used Glock 26 prices

What prices can I expect to find used Glock 26's going for? Any gen is fine, but I'm assuming that the older the gen, the less the price will be.

That depends on where you're from, demand, and how much the seller values their gun. Not to mention if they inclue extras with it. Around here I can find Gen 3's for like $350 or so, but that isn't with all sorts of extra mags, holsters, lasers, lights, etc. The Gen doesn't necessarily matter on price, it is another one of those it depends how much the seller and buyer values it. There are people who will pay top dollar for a prestine Gen 1 for collecting. You come to me with a Gen 1 I will offer you a minimum. Check Armslist, GunBroker, or any other sort of site. Or take a trip around your town and outlying areas and see what you can find.

For $400 used, I doubt I would find anybody local willing to sell it to me for that price and online the extra money to get my hands on one pretty much means it's probably better to pay $500+ for a new one and the three mags that come with it.

Oddly enough, used Glocks keep their value very well in this area. Basically, if you upgraded it with night sights, and it's in pristine condition, you can easily get $500 for a Gen 4.

If you want a good deal, look around for police trade ins. They happen pretty frequently. Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore has them regularly in the $300's. Lower or higher, depending on the condition.

Keep your eye out for a smoking deal on a Glock 27, and then buy a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel for it and a couple of mags, and you're good. Good deals are MUCH easier to find on the Glock 27 (and 22 and 23) than their 9mm equivalents.

That's what I did and it has been completely reliable. And I have the added benefit of being able to shoot .40S&W if there's ever a 9mm ammo shortage.

$300 for the Glock 27, $110 for the 9mm barrel, probably $50 for the 9mm spring, extractor, and ejector... it's no better of a deal than just getting a Glock 26.

It seems like when it comes to the 26, your best bet is just to buy a new one.

Yeah, if buying new is a financial option, I'd probably do that too. I'd guess I could fairly easily find a quality used G26 online for $425, so add another $20 onto that for FFL fee and I'd be at $445. Sometimes new is worth the extra $75 or so.

Cost aside, I'll say that the G26 is one of my very favorite carry guns, and I have a bunch. Great size-to-capacity ratio.

No need for a 9mm spring, extractor or ejector. Just replace the barrel and use 9mm mags.

Yep, thats what I found with my G23 with a Lone Wolf 9mm barrel. I wouldn't carry it with the 9mm conversion but its been 100% reliable.
