use your gun in self defense

I was just wondering if anyone who carries their hand guns has ever had to use it in self defense. Some of them stories would be interesting.

Why is it that new people on here always want to hear stories? I have drawn once and never fired. I hope that is the extent of adventure that I have. Don't get me wrong, I love a good senario discussion but I don't think you're going to find alot of real stories out there. There are legal ramifications to using your gun and I have a feeling that most lawyers would say NOT to post real incidents. You can always buy a newspaper if you want to read about shootings.
