The US Army compiled numerous volumes of information on wounds. Was a patient at WRGH for several months in 1969-70: Read a many of the reports on small arms wound ballistics from WWII. This is serious bookworm stuff. More than you ever wanted to know about wounds and wound ballistics:

Yeah and unfortunately it's over 50 years old now. Bullet technology has changed so much that very little in that study matters any more.

Plus, the situations and rules that we as civilians face are very different from those faced by soldiers on a battlefield, so be careful when looking at those statistics.

Unless you plan on using there old out dated ammo its really no use. Its interesting though. They could only use fmjs right?
