Urgent! Price on Raging bull!

Hey all,
My buddy wants to buy a NIB Taurus Raging Bull Stainless 44 Mag, price is 475, is this a fair price? Thanks.

Considering the MSRP is over $700, I'd consider that an excellent price!

Gun Test magazine gave the Raging Bull a better recomendation then the Freedom Arms .44 Mag. That's impressive, since the F.A. revolver is about $1500.
The 'Bull is too much gun for me...but I hope your buddy likes it!
 
That's a good price. I shot my friend's Raging Bull 454 this morning with some 300 grain "bear loads". I don't know why anyone would want such a brutal, punishing cartridge, but if you can handle it more power to ya.

As noted above, my buddy is getting the .44, a little tamer bull, But he wants it for bears actually, something more sporting than a long gun, but less scary than a bow. :-)
