UPS stops ground ship of hand guns

I read in the morning paper that UPS has stopped taking hand guns for shipment by land. They said it was to stop theft. The Only way they will handle them is overnight air, That will raise the cost from an average of 6 dollars to 25 dollars. The way I feel if it has to be by air it might as well be Fed EX. No since rewarding them for their anti gun action. This doesn't effect me much as I ship few hand guns but I can make a pretty strong statement with all the shipping we do.

I agree...if enough people in the firearms/sporting goods industry such as yourself take the same type of action, maybe the boneheads at UPS corporate HQ will get the message.

Yeah, it'll cost those of us who purchase your products more, but it'll be worth it to take some business away from UPS.
