Updating a poster: is new one any better?

Superb, as always, Oleg. Keep up the good work. I use them as wallpaper at work, but most folks around me agree with me on most issues of RKBA.

The new one is a big improvment. What about Photoshoping in a swastika on the uniform? It might be a bit... heavy handed, but the uninitated might need the hint.

Arg, my server is down again...

The gents in the photo were French police supplied by the German Army. Given that the MP38s were pretty rare in 1940 I suspect one of them had it only for the duration of the photo op. I retouched French tricolor off his sleeve, could add German insignia as the equipment already fits. Just an illustration of law enforcement in a democratic country selling their souls for toys and some wastepaper money...maybe I should have left the French colors intact.

First of all, thank you so much for your site - it's fantastic. 2nd, I like the newer poster better. I think that it's message gets through just fine, I personally wouldn't make it less subtle. But then again, sometimes a sledge hammer is a good thing ( Said im Martha Stewart voice)
thanks again

Only thing I might do different is at the top use the tired old phrase we hear all the time
- "Only the military and police need guns."

Excellent, as always Oleg.
I agree with the gentleman about the swastika. It would add that subtle touch, pushing it over the edge.
Keep up the good fight!

I hope to meet most TFLers. Maybe when I go check out AZ or you visit MN...

Just be forewarned, anyone I meet just may end up in front of a camer and in my posters. Which reminds me, folks who live close by are welcome to volunteer themselves. VAriety in the types of folks I depict would be very helpful.

Confound this blasted WebSENSE!!

Have to check it out later, Oleg, but I'm sure that whatever it is will be in keeping with your consistent excellence

I like the new poster better as well.

Following on with jnix's comment above, it would be interesting to deliver a similar message with a National Socialist on one side and a BATF member on the other, with a similar message in the middle. It would be especially appropos if you could get a still of BATF or FBI off the Waco tapes / photo's ... with your talents, you could blend the photo styles so they appeared to be out of the same period.

Only a few years ago I would have never thought I would even consider such a comparison. Even today, certainly at least with the FBI, I continue to hope they will bring themselves around. However, with each new Waco revelation, and the clear implication that they will never admit fault until actually forced to do so, I find the comparison apt. Damn shame.

Because the JBTs are blurred, the details, national affiliation, and what-not, are unnecessary and, I think, would result in perceptual overload.

The coal scuttle helmet, the cut of the uniform, and the automatic weapon are all that's needed to infer "JBT."
No more detail is necessary, and I think would be counter productive.

As it is, it really hits the viewer in the brain with a conceptual baseball bat.

Glad you're on the side of the angels, Oleg.
