I put all the original grips on for the pic. All but the GP100 sport hogue monos. The long barrelled ones are a 7.5 in redhawk and a K22 masterpiece with 8 3/8 in tube.

What's the 2nd gun (the one below the Ruger). I noticed that the barrel extends beyond the front sight blade and this has puzzled me. Can you tell me more about it?

BTW, with that Oriental carpet, you can really take some "period" pictures.

Nice groupings. You gave a great collection. Love that K-22 long barrel. Talk about reach out and touch someone?

The revolver below the Ruger is a pristine 1915 Colt New Service 45 Colt that has a reduced cylinder to accept .45 ACP (this is a factory original feature). A nice man at Colt told me that the extention is a factory compensator, although it has no ports....etc...only an odd cross style groove pattern that is cut very deep apparantly to stabilize the bullet or some such.
Not real sure, I am still researching this revolver, since I acquired it a week or so ago, anyway this is the info I have amassed so far. By the way it is an extraordinary example of old Colt craftsmanship. I am not sure if I can bring myself to fire it. Especially considering its current condition and value. Is nice to look at though.

Oh and the oriental carpet is the comforter on my bed.......of course my wife has all the fixins.....ie: dust ruffle, drapes, pillow shams ad nauseum.

well I broke down and took the 1951 M&P snubbie to the range. All I can say is DAYUM. Shoots alot better than I expected.

That said it is on the way to the smith for refinishing , sandblasting, and a good trigger job. This will be my new boat/tacklebox/fishin vest gun. No real loss since I paid 80 dollars for it. And it is pretty pitted still even after getting most of the rust off.

Has to be the most accurate snub I have ever fired.
