*Update* Finally got one

I posted a message awhile back asking for advice on my first handgun purchase. I would like to thank all that chimed in and gave their 2 cents, it was very helpful. After reading the replies, shooting several guns and consulting numerous friends, I descided on getting a Glock. Then after shopping around, shooting and comparing several models, looking at new and used, I finally made my decision. I purchased a Glock G23C (40) factory rebuilt. The price was right, it was at a local shop, and it just seemed like a good buy. If anyone owns this specific model and wants to give me there impression please feel free. If anyone has any comments on factory rebuilt Glocks let me know. I cant wait to get to the range to start shooting this thing:D :D

I have been recommending GLocks as a first gun lately. Relatively inexpensive and simple to shoot & maintain. Good place to start your shooting experience. Congrats & have fun w/ your new toy!

Congratulations!

I don't know much about factory rebuilds, but I do know that the G23 is a fine handgun. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new toy even more so once you get to shoot it some.
Keep us posted.

My first gun was a Glock 26. I loved it! I sold it after having it for a little over 4 years. I still miss it, but I plan to get a new Glock very soon. I just can't decide which one!

The G23 is a great gun, have fun with it!
