Update: CZ 75 B in .40

Update from a previous thread I started about a month ago.

I officially have 600 rounds through her now, and not one malfunction. Considering the small ejection port, I must admit that I am quite surprised how reliable its been.

Its still shooting fabulous groups......in fact, its more accurate in my hands than two of my beloved Sig pistols. The 180 grain bullets are the easiest bullets for me to shoot (minimal recoil and less snappy IMO). The 155 grain bullets are a little on the snappy-sharp side, but are very controllable overall. I am not crazy about the CZ (MecGar) magazines, as they are not as "smooth" loading as my Glock 26 or Sig 226/239 magazines are....but that is a minor complaint. In short, I am very happy with this pistol...I never thought a .40 pistol could be this good (based on my experiences with other .40's of various brands).

I recommend trying the CZ 75B (.40) if a full sized .40 is what you want.

Yeah, the relatively small ejection port raises eyebrows somewhat. I really don't think the size of the ejection port has anything to do with reliability IF it's a well engineered pistol which CZ's are.
Take the Makarov for example. TINY ejection port and they are stone cold reliable.
I've got a CZ40 that's got about two hundred rounds through it without a hitch. Nice pistol.
Also just picked up a CZ 75 B military that I REALLY like. CZ makes good stuff. Where have they been all my life? I guess the iron curtain had something to do with it. Best Regards, J. Parker
