Upcoming fall TV series with Craig T. Nelson as police chief of Washington, D.C.?

Forget the name of the show. Now if this isn't liberal propaganda, I don't know what is. Here's the gist/premise of the show: Craig Nelson is police chief (I think - maybe mayor) of D.C., and he vows on the promo to "not rest until this city is the safe." and "hold his police officers responsible for every single crime that happens here, no matter how small" (I'm paraphrasing from memory so this may not be exact). Of course you and I know the only way to make DC safe is to allow citizens to carry guns in order to eliminate the criminal monopoly of force. And this is obviously reinforcing the Sarah Brady anti-gun message that "you can depend on 911 and the police, because it's society's job to make the streets safe with the police force." Arrrgghhhh. I hate it already. Don't watch the first episode if you're a Nielson household - with any luck, the show will die after the first few episodes - what a transparent crock of liberal crap.

I must be getting REAL old.
Who the hell is Craig T. Nelson?

He played the male lead in Poltergyist(sp?) and was coach Hayden Fox in the television series Coach.

He was also an Air Force Col. in a Viet Nam era T.V. show. Can`t remember the name. I understand he did his best to avoid serving in real life. Typical Hollywood trash.
