So I live in Arizona and I'm moving to California soon. I have a couple different guns. One is an AR (I already have my bullet button). Do I need to register these guns in California when I move or can I leave them unregistered. Im guessing you have to. But if it not necessary then I do not want to go thru the trouble.

Yes it blows hard here. If we did not have so many people I doubt we would have too many firearms choices. Don't move here unless you have no other choice. As bad as the firearms laws are, everything else is just as bad or worse.

Here's a litmus test: Is your specific model AR currently available for sale in CA? If yes, then bring yours on in. If no, then you might be better off selling it AZ, or get a new CA-legal lower.

I guess my question is WHY would you move to a socialist state like California. Sort of like wondering on the east coast why anyone would move to NJ. Stay free, and avoid these police states that pretend to be part of the USA.
