After a few years here with never a problem, I have had two threads locked down within 24 hours....

One here (my very first post to "Tactics") and one to "Art of the Rifle".

Is there some new policy here to censor threads that don't fit in with the magazine's worldview/agenda?

I thought that my Tactics post was extremely relevant!
Owning or carrying a firearm is a huge responsibility.
Your decisions can alter the course of your life.

Interactions with LE are important. I strive to stay on the right side of the law. I want any interaction with LE to be extremely rare and end with
a positive "win/win" solution.

My post about a local incident was by no means meant to be biased or "us vs. them". I clearly let it be known that I thought mistakes were made on both sides.

YOU may have a knock on the door some night by someone claiming to be be an LEO! You absolutely need to know in advance how to handle this!"
If you are a law abiding citizen, it becomes all the more suspect.
Why would police be knocking on your door at 3am if all you do is work and pay your taxes?

You have allowed posts on alarm monitoring companies and bullwhips, but locked down my post!

Firing Line is an awesome forum and resource and I have learned so much here over the past few years!

Why not try to redirect the direction of a thread before you lock it down?

Just IMHO, I'm a moderator on a wet shaving forum and that type of question is best asked in a PM to a staff member.
