Unlicensed handgun buying in Kansas

I have recently posted a WTB Glock 22 on TFL. I am not completely sure of the regs pertaining a non-FFL individual buying a handgun from another individual within Kansas. I hear guys talking about FTF (face to face) buying, and it seems like a routine, no-hassle procedure. I guess my basic question is:

Would I (a non-FFL holding individual) be in accordance with Kansas/Federal law if I bought the Glock from another non-FFL holding individual FTF (face to face). Both of which would be in Kansas, of course. No border crossings. Any county-specific stipulations?

I looked at the ATF; Kansas-specifc information. All that stuff just seems like a hodgepodge of bureaucratic hullabaloo to me. Apologies if I sort of asked the same question twice, probably clear as mud, but wanting to do this without risking 5-10, possibly including up to 100,000 in fines.

If you are both residents of KS, not just located in Kansas, but residents, then you hand him/her the money and he/she hands you the gun. That is the legal requirement in it's entirety so long as the seller has no reason to believe you are under 18 years old, you are not a resident of Kansas, you have been convicted of a felony or dometic violence or that you are otherwise prohibited from possessing a firearm.

If you want to, you can sign a receipt for his gun and give it to him and he can sign a receipt for your money and give that to you.
