unknown revolver

was thinking about purchasing this revolver the hammer is missing but was wondering exactly how difficult it would be to get a new one and what make/model this is and how exactly would it be used? i figure one of you guys would know lol (btw cal is .32)

Looks like a Belgian Pfieffer (? not sure of spelling) or similar French revovler, maybe Galand.

The chances of finding a hammer are slim to none. These guns were popular in France around 1900 to WW I era.

I hate to be the one to tell you, but I don't see much future for that revolver.

Must agree with Mr. Wright. That pistol(all be it interesting due to the folding trigger) would best serve as a paper weight.
 
The safety indicates it was either made in Germany or was made to be sold in Germany, but no matter; the value is negligible, parts are not available and unless you want to spend a couple of bucks for an interesting paperweight, best to take a pass on buying it.
