Unknown proof mark in a remington barrel revolver

Considering the application it doesn't make any sense, but the closest match I can find is the East German Suhl choked bore barrel mark.

Thankyou mykeal,

Considering that I bought this revolver in Germany (second hand and unfired), that you say could have some sense.

Really this proof mark must be made in Germany but I do not know the meaning or purpose.

Regards

E.N. Santa Barbara

Your revolver is made by E.N. Santa Barbara in Spain. They have not been manufactured for a number of years. The Santa Barabara is one of the best replicas made of the Remington New Model Army. Very, very collectable.
