Has anyone seen this?

Article 25

1. Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.

Article 26

1. Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compulsory. Technical and professional education shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit.

How do these people think we will pay for this? Where is the right to self defense? Who is going to enforce this? Socialist craptrap.

Its a feel good document, unfortunately America can not solve the worlds problems. America should be worry about itself, not everyone else.

this thing is hilarious, it was ratified in 1948 so it should be effective any day now right;)

Some of my favorites

article 15 part 2: No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his nationality nor denied the right to change his nationality.

open borders crowd would love that

article 17 part 2: No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his property.

the taxes needed to fund these "rights" would see to that.

The saddest thing here is It was voted in 48-0 with with 8 abstentions, all Soviet Bloc states, South Africa and Saudi Arabia

You forgot to add this UN statement:

"Wherever guns flow, violence follows"

-- Actor Michael Douglas, Official United Nations Messenger of Peace.
