Unexpected finds in your range bag

While digging around in my range bag the other day, I was surprised to find a 9mm round that was definitely not mine. I figure that's pretty normal and tame.

However, I imagine some people have found oddities or forgotten items in their bags that were much more interesting/surprising, lets hear some stories! :D

my recent trip to the range - my brass had an odd expansion problem

I know I only took 100 rounds of 30-06 - 100 rounds of 280REM - 100 rounds of 32-20

When I cam back home and cleaned/sorted the brass I found
115 (+2 unfired loaded ones) - 30-06
101 - 280REM
100 - 32-20
15 - 308

No-one else at the range shoots 32-20 (that i've ever seen there) or 280REM. I don't own a 308 and the 30-06 is not a brand i've ever fired before!

I have a range on my property so the most unexpected (and quite amusing) thing was when I was zipping it up a squirrel came out of it at about Mach 6 :D

Dang thing eat half of one of my power bars.:)

Hampsters. Drove 15min to the range opened up the bag and there were 3 hampsters going ape... My kids love those things... Only reason they lived through it.

A nice S&W revolver showed up in my range bag.

We carried our stuff down to the shooting range instead of shooting off the back deck (Wife was sleeping). Got done, packed everything up for the walk back to the house. Shooting partners took off and I began cleaning my guns.

I suppose one of these days, when my buddy asks about the revolver, I'll have to return it, but in the mean-time, it will sit nicely with the others.

Maybe I should display it on my desk and see if he notices...

I went to a range, they wanted to check my ammo for steel, using a magnet.

I dragged the 30lbs bag up to them. He said, "This looks like my 9YO sons messy bedroom "Me? "OK, what's your point?, I come complete and prepared"

TBS, I do find bag's of rounds I forgot about. But wait, there's more.........

lol, I would be super surprised if small critters were ever in my bag.

@UncleBuck, you should display it see if he even notices. Would be even funnier if he compliments you on a new purchase. "Hey that's a sweet revolver you have there, I have one just like it!" :D
