Uncle Mike's/Butler Creek Redhawk Grips

YES ! That is the grip I use on my Redhawk. If you have largish hands I believe you would like them. I dont think those with small hands would like them very well, they have more girth than a lot of grips, as the backstrap is covered.

Grips are very personal. I tried many for my Redhawk and settled on Pachymar Presentations. So, no answer about whether those might be right for you is possible. If it works, it works, if it doesn't.......

trying to get rid of a set

I was sold a set by someone who told me they were PacMayr grips for a Security Six- he was mislead when he bought them. He told me to keep them, and offered to give me my money back, but I didn't feel right keeping both, so now I'm trying to sell them. Any of you need a set?

I replaced my original Hogue grips on my Redhawk 4" with a pair of these.

I got them from "Numrich".
A bit of a pain to get them delivered all the way out here, but well worth it.

I have found them to be a splendid replacement. Cheap, but far from a cheap feel. The rubber feels firm, yet has some nice give in them. The fit is great. No gaps, no uneven joins etc...

As for the comfort, they are a definite step up. For a start, given that I don't have spades for hands, holding the gun is much more comfortable. I feel more in control of the RH with those on.

Heartily recommmended!

I'm really really happy with the Hogue Tamer's I got. Great mounting accessory (expanding jaws-of-life watchamacallit) that makes it easu to install/remove and they are a much better size for my hands than the originals. Also, at ~$25 price is great.

If you have a newer Super Redhawk I think it comes with those same grips so never mind.
