Recently I bought some Ching Slings from Andy Langlois at http://www.shottist.com/ . I also corresponded directly with the originator of this concept, Eric Ching at http://pweb.netcom.com/~chingesh/ .
I originally read about this concept in Jeff Cooper's 'The Art of the Rifle', and was intrigued by the idea.
We'll take them out to the range in a week or so, but they feel 'right'.
I was very, very impressed with Eric Ching's speed in getting back to me, and his patience with my questions regarding their use on Ruger 10/22's. Andy was great to deal with as well, and took pains to make sure our order was handled right. His leather work is first rate.
If you've never tried one, give it a look. Seems like a more logical way of building a shooting sling.
