Uintah Precision 6.5 Creedmoor

I made the leap to buy the 26" Uintah Precision upper in 6.5 creedmoor about 4 months ago. Paying over a $1000 for half a bolt action may seem crazy to some people, but it's the best $1295.00 you'll spend in my opinion. Coupled with a crisp 3 pound trigger this thing shoots really well.

I've been running Sierra 142's over Staball powder with great accuracy, velocity, and tight groups. I recently picked another one up in 6.5 Grendel but haven't taken it to the range yet.

Anyone else shooting this fun platform?

My only interest in such a platform is if semi-auto AR's get banned eventually, most of the bolt handle add-on conversion kits for carriers seem to have disappeared from the market.

Thanks for the report. I've been looking at these guys for awhile now. I have a good long range 6.5 Gren AR build and this would be a good match with the lower on there (PRS stock, velocity drop in trigger, etc). I was thinking about going for the new 6mm ARC using a Unitah upper.

@Trueblue711
This is my spec spec at the moment
Luth Ar adjustable stock, magpul pistol grip fde, Harris bipod 6-9, rise armament 3# trigger, Aero precision lower, Uintah precision 6.5 creedmoor 26" upper, Arken EP-4 6-24 34mm tube, Arken 34mm scope ring 1.26" (gives 1/8" clearance on upper.
