Uh-Oh. Is 10mm Auto fizzlin out?

Of my two favorite gun stores around here, one had NO 10mm ammo at all, and the other had only 3 really old leftover boxes, and I bought two of them. I thought 10mm was experiencing a resurgence, not a continuing decline as it had in the past, as it is offered in quite a few new models of pistols (new to offer the models in 10mm, that is) just in the last year or two. Maybe this is just a temporary ammo shortage..

Ten is never going to be a mainstream cartridge. But the ammunition is available in most all sporting good stores in my area. Don't think that one can walk into GI Joe's and ask for 45 or 40 Super and hear, "WHAT". Or 460 and hear the counter person say, "that must be European". For someone looking for a caliber with a little more punch, it would be worth looking into a conversion. It is extremely easy to reload, less expensive and much more forgiving to a firearm than the three alternatives.
