Uberti 44-40/44sp firing pin

I bought a used American Western Regulator with brass grip frame and 5.5 barrel, dual cylinder. Shoots good and accurate. Looks good and feels tight like a new one. Only problem, the firing pin comes to a rough jagged point that tends to pierce the primers. I plan to smooth it out but would like some recommendations before starting. I plan to use the rubber wheel on a Dremel Stylus to take the rough edge off. I would like some advice on rounding the pin off on the tiny tip.

Sir:
If you round off the pin it may be too short.
Just be careful with your dremel mounted in a vise and rotate the pin till round - hopefully it will still be long enough.
The finished protrusion with the hammer down would be in the .060 - .070 range.

Thanks for the info. I have rounded it of and will test fire it this weekend hopefully. If it don't work reliably, I'll get the new one.
