Uberti 1873 Lever-Action .22

I have a Uberti 1873 Lever-Action .22 Carbine and am wondering if they are very common or not? Mine is in excellent condition and has Cabela's stamped also on the forward part of the barrel. It shoots like a champ, looks great, and functions even better. I've seen the 1866 Uberti Yellowboy Carbines in .22 for sale a few times on several of the auction sites, but have never seen the same version in the 1873 Model. Any info out there about this Model 1873 Uberti Lever-Action .22 Carbine? Thanks
 
.22's in the 1866 or the 1873 are not very common.
You mostly see .22 in the "Yellowboy" 1866 type rifle.

The .22LR 1873 is not seen very much at all, and it seems that Uberti only does a run of these from time to time.

Yes, I used to see the 1866 advertised in .22 when I was a kid during the '60s and always wanted one. I finally got the 1866 a few years ago, but ran across the 1873 fairly recently and got it at a fair price. I also have other lever-action .22s i.e. Winchester 9422, but for the Old West feel and look, NOTHING compares to these two Uberti .22s. I noticed that Uberti is bringing out the Silver Boy.

Sorry to revive such an old thread. However, was wondering if the uberti 1873 22 an the 1866 22 have the same toggle action and carrier of a centre fire 1873.

I’m looking for an easy 22 to maintain. I’m not the most patient or handy person but I have worked my way through dismantelingn1873s so would be great to have a 22 with a familiar mechanism :)
