U.S. Mod. 1917 Straightened Trigger Guard

I have a sporterized U.S. Model 1917 rifle for which I need a straightened trigger guard. Does anyone know where I can find one, or a gunsmith who can straighten the one I have complete with finishing.

I also have a Remington Model 30 in .257 Remington Roberts, which is the civilian version of the 1917. The straight trigger guard for the Mod. 30 is a perfect match and one of those would do fine too.

Thanks for your help,

For many years, in the 60's on, Williams Gunsight modified a lot of 1917 floorplates. Just a cut and weld. That said, the M30 was the 1917 sporterized to some degree. Remington used the same tooling. They stockholders wanted to make a few shekles for their investment and that was the quickest way for Remington to do it. The offshoot of that was the Remington 721-722 series of rifles. I do not know if the floorplate from a 722 would fit the M30 or the M1917 but it would be worth investigating.
