Yep, my son just sent me a text saying they picked the Sig. He is a Lt. Colonel in the Army and is very happy with the choice.

Nothing on SIG's WEB site as of 6:53 but the WSJ is reporting they got the deal worth $580 million. So, I'm a SIG fan, but it seems like a little bit of a surprise.

I happily await the influx of Beretta 92s to hit the market and make them, oh... About 300 bucks for a decent used specimen. The good used taurus knock should go for a bit over 200. Excellent pistols, especially for the price they likely will be seen at soon.
