U know how sometimes things stick past the end of the barrel ?

notice the top one, (pic from another forum's post,) the light is past the edge of the barrel yet very close to it.

is there any chance that the light will be blown away ? or at least fouled with residue ?

( I never had anything near there so I dunno )

Nope. The only thing that could possibly happen is the muzzle blast putting carbon fouling on the flashlight. The shot doesn't start expanding out of the shot cup until it's like over 2 feet from the muzzle.

I have the same question...I have a 18.5 barrel on my shotgun and I want to put 4 shot extension magazine...I know the slugs will be fine but other ammo..Is this set up safe(for me and my shotty)??

you'd be %100 safe. birdshot/buckshot will remain in the wad for a good distance past the end of the barrel so there is no chance of your magazine tube being hit with stray shot.
