TZ-75 question

A friend has asked me to see if I can get him an extractor for his TZ 75. I have looked in the usual places (Gun Parts, etc.) but cannot find one listed. I know the TZ 75 is very similar to the CZ 75, which I can get an extractor for. What I need from someone who knows is, is it the same part? Will the CZ extractor work in the TZ 75 pistol?

I think it will, but would like to hear from anyone who actually knows before I order the part. Are the CZ 75 and the TZ 75 the same pistol, just with different names, or are there mechanical differences?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The TZ-75 was sold by the old F.I.E. company of Florida.
After they went out of business, several people who worked there started up European American Armory, (EAA).

The TZ was simply an earlier Italian Tanfoglio made gun, of which the EAA Witness is the current version.

EAA will likely have parts:

If they don't, check with Gun Parts Corporation:
http://www.e-gunparts.com/

or Jack First:
http://www.jackfirstgun.com/ (You have to CALL First).

NOTE: The same basic Tanfoglio copy of the CZ-75 was sold by a number of companies, including FIE and Excam.
Most if not all parts for the FIE or Excam will interchange.

Thanks

I had already checked with Gun Parts, and that is what propted my question. They didn't list an extractor as a TZ part, but they do as a CZ part. I will check the others mentioned.

Thanks for the help.
