Two XD(m) Compacts... $70 difference, WHY?!

This is driving me nuts... what is the difference between these two, they appear to be identical! Is this a "last years model" situation? Different item numbers

If you're looking at the XD family, another option (what I went with) is an XD mod 2 in 9mm. It's the subcompact so very easy to conceal carry (just need a good belt and holster), but for range use you get the extended mags which hold 16+1. The barrel is 3" instead of 3.8", but they also have a model with 4" barrel.

I like mine a lot, only gripe is sometimes the extended mag pinches you when you're reloading.

The sale model is listed at a capacity of 13+1 and the one at full price is listed at a capacity of 19. The full price model is photographed with an extended magazine. The sale model is not.

I can't see any other differences.
