Two Texas Statewide Candidates tell it straight?

Here is a link to a video of two candidates interviewed on Youtube. One is Hank Gilbert, running for Texas Ag Commissioner, and the other is David Van Os, running for Texas Attorney General. These guys are talking, on videotape, about the Trans Texas Corridor/Land theft plan for the plotters of the North American Partnership, and what they believe will happen if the government continues to attempt to cram this down our throats.

They are saying the public is only willing to give government "one last chance" at the ballot box.

If you have 9:00 minutes to find out what credible, non-tin foil hat wearing grown up, responsible, and respected men are trying to warn us about, it would be good to view this if it opens up.

(The last statement, made by a nominee for Texas Agriculture Commissioner for the Democrat party, is something that everyone on this board should hear, as it could have been a quote from Patrick Henry.

Ever notice how conservative they get come election time.
If they were honest, They would switch parties. But, that
Would not fit you agenda would it.........;)

Tater:

Amazing you would say what these two fellows are saying is "dishonest" when they obviously know (due to the newly passed public law 109-364, Section 1076 of the John Warner Defense Authorization Act" in conjunction with the "Military Commissions Act" that they are putting their own safety, and freedom in jeapordy by simply SAYING what they said.

Did you listen to the entire thing, or just a little bit?

Did you listen to the portion about the North American Partnerhip, or are you aware of what the "North American Partnership" consists of in relation to the Trans Texas Corridor?

I'd hardly call them dishonest. Did you listen to it all?

Also can you clarify what you mean about agenda? You mean my personal agenda? I'm a Registered Republican.

Eghad, that is correct, the only people that want it is Perry, his people inside TXDOT, the folks selling the "smart pass" microchips, and the Spanish company gaining emminent domain powers which is contracted to run the TTC. Problem is, neither Strayhorn, nor Freidman, nor Chris Bell will tell the truth about, or will even hint they know, how the damned thing can be LEGALLY halted.

They are not even willing to try and find out. This Van Os guy, has signed an oath and filed it in public record, that he will use the Attorney General Office's power (as described in the State Constitution regarding the AG's DUTY to halt monopolies, nor the ban on any entity charging a species or toll, for travel. It is also unconstitutional according to the Federal constitution, for a State to negotiate a treaty with a foreign power, and the company running the TTC, is owned by the King of Spain. It is not for the good of the public, it is for the enrichment of a private company!

It is unconstitutional both by our State Constitution, and our Federal one, and everyone who reads those statutes knows it.

Yet all of Perry's opposition candidates act as if they don't know much about it at all.

The TTC is simply part of the "North American Partnership Agreeement" which is the illegally "made" treaty between Mexico, Canada, and the Bush Administration.

This affects the WHOLE of United States sovereignty (according to documents on the NAP web site) as it allows for "TRILATERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT" and "CROSS BORDER EMERGENCY RESPOND
eR" arrangements. Some of those "emergency responders" are Mexican military, police, fire, etc.

(Excuse me Mr. Bush, but I don't believe I much need the Mexican Military on my back pasture, thank you very much)

Its a Paradox for sure..
Gary,
I’m sorry, It seems as though I may have you confused
With someone else.... But,

Who Made the unconstitutional ruling that made this possible????
What party pushes these agenda driven liberal judges..

What party feels so good about what they have planed
For us,.... that they feel the need to disarm us first..

Now..they tell you, They are the only way to fix it???

jesus, are people even capable of debating an issue without turning into an argument about which party does what?

You don't get it. First, it is not a ruling, it is an Act of the United States Congress, not a judicial ruling. So since the political heros on Republican side of the aisle, control both houses, and the oval office, and since our "conservative" president signed it, I guess I'd have to say in answer to that question, the Republican Party. Of course, there is no innocence left on the part of the Democrat leadership either.

Not a word from Teddy, Chuck Schumer, Hillary, John Kerry, etc. as if they could weild this type of power when they get in then their total and absolute ower will be complete.

I am trying to point out that we are fast being run over by a two party system, which wants absolute control, and they care not for our Constitution, or our past Represetnative Republican form of government.

A good comparison of the leadership of the two politcal parties would be toilet paper. Each brand does pretty much the same job. It just has different design features to make it appeal to the consumer.

After doing some more reading I think David Van Os is going to get my vote for Attorney General. From what I have read he appears to be leaning towards a constitutionalist approach to government like Ron Paul. He seems like a blue dog democrat in his positions.
