Hey guys. I got some Pachmayr Compact Gp-100 grips @ a gun show and tossed them on my SRH because it was closest just to see how the feel. I really liked em but I have an issue. The front of the grip isn't coming together flush so there is a gap running down the whole front of the gun. 
Does anyone have any suggestions on what material to remove or anything else to help it snug up? I'll post a picture when I can.
Also My SRH apparently is one of the first made and much to my surprise the original panel grips are 2 separate pieces?! I just thought it was a terrible mold seem. How long were they made like this? Never seen one like this in my life.
