The Knox Report, written by Jeff Knox, page 9 comments on (exposes) The American Hunters and Shooters Association, under the heading of Wolves in Sheeps Clothing. Sounds like another offshoot of the anti gun lobby, or perhaps the same old pig, with a new brand of lipstick, and costume jewlery.
Knox also mentions a proposal to allow registration of "war trophies" Class 3 arms, not previously registered. This idea sounds like it has virtues.
Clayton Cramer has a piece on page 28 headed The Perfect Is The Enemy of the Good, wherein he comments on President Bush's position and actions regarding firearms, gun laws, and the antics of our bureaucrats. Theme is that while Bush might not be all that could have been desired, how much worse would Gore, perhaps Kerry have been?
He does not involve himself in pro or anti arguments re Bush and Iraq, at least not in this piece.
