Two Kel-Tec Questions

For all you Kel-Tec-ophiles out there, I have two questions:

1. Have any of you heard if or why Kel-Tec is no longer making the P40?

2. Has anyone heard about or had any experience with the .357 Sig conversion kit for the Kel-Tec? Is it for the P11 or P40 or both?

If you have any info on these questions, post up please.

1. Kel-Tec discontinued the P40. Apparently, too many were being returned for service with nothing wrong. The owners were apparently limp wristing or otherwise couldn't handle the .40 S&W cartridge in a gun that light.

2. No experience with that. But I did try to put a Buick straight 8 engine on a go cart once. (Hmmm... why does one remind me of the other?)

Would you believe that project was aborted long before it got to the wheels stage...? Ah, the dreams of 11 year olds!

Alamo:

Thank you. After I read your message yesterday, I called Kel-Tec and ordered a .357 conversion kit. I'll post info on how it works after a session at the range.
