Two Calibers that SHOULD exist but do not.

Why are there no .35 or .375 Winchester Magnums?

There are a LOT of cartridges based on the .300 Winchester Magnum case.

The .338 should have been a .35 caliber, a Magnum .35 Whelen.

Winchester created the .458 Winchester Magnum to compete with the British Nitro Magnums.

So why not a .375 Winchester Magnum to compete with the .375 H&H Magnum?

Seems to me that there should be two more factory Big Bores available. ;)

I share you love for the 35cal.s I think the lack of good bullets available until a few years ago may have held the 35's back.As for the 375 I have a Remington classic in that caliber and for me anyway it always seamed that the old 375HH Mag had all of the power I ever had a desire for and I think that is probably one reason that you don't see too many hot 375's.However If a hot 35cal come out I might get temped.I just wish Browning would bring out the BLR leveraction in 350Remington Mag or 35Whelen if they did I know I would have to have one.
