Twist rate of Beretta 92G E2?

Hello, curious to what the twist rate on this model is. If anyone knows. Or what type of ammo is recommended to use with this pistol?

I ask because it seems when I fire 115gr FMJ rounds, I can BARELY hit paper at 25yrds. But when I shoot 124gr hydra-shoks, I make fine groups, same for 134gr, & 143gr Win. Silvertips. But everything else in 115gr FMJ seems to strike everywhere else but the target. Are these factory FMJ loads just "hot"? Keep in mind, I'm no pistolero.

I believe the Beretta has a 1-10" barrel twist in 9mm. I assume this is the best rate for 124 grain NATO bullets traveling about 1250 fps! My Beretta 92F shoots 115 grain bullets EXCELLENT especially in the Federal 9BP configuration! Bar-Sto makes match 9mm barrels in 1-16". The rule in designing rifling has always been to use a faster rate of twist as the bullet rate increases. The Bar-Sto 9mm barrels are rifeled at the slower rate to stablize the 147 match bullet. It would be interesting what twist rate Jarvis 9mm match barrels use. Jarvis barrels by the way were selected by the Army AMU for their match Beretta 92's. Unfortunately, I personally have never experimented with the 147 variety in 9mm. In Bar-Sto barrels the groves are wider which tends to distort the bullet less as it is forced through by gas pressure. This is just what I hear, as I dont own a Bar-Sto aftermarket barrel as the factory barrel shoots lights out! Out of a ransom rest I have gotten 1.5 to 2.0 inch groups at 25 yds. for 10 shots with a stock 92F. In my opinion the Beretta is one of the more accurate 9's out there.
