I'm looking for a .204 to add to my varmint arsenol for use on woodchucks (I have a .243 for yotes). Cabelas is running a sale on the Tikka T3 Lite (stainless) which has a 1:12" twist and the Thompson Center Venture Predator has a 1:10" twist. I would probably shoot the 40gr for the added BC. Is one twist a bit better than the other or is it a toss up? Thanks.

I like the 1:12, you'll probably find that the 39gr Sierra is more accurate than the 40gr Hornady. I think th 1:10 is too fast.
