Turned 21 got myself a 1911

Finally after waiting with my eyes on a few handguns I finally reach that age. So I walk up to my local gun store and Picked up a Kimber Custom. I havent had a chance to shoot it but will go out this weekend and give it a try.

I bought a Kimber Custom Classic II the day of my 21st birthday, I have not regretted my decision, awesome gun. Happy Birthday and congratulations on your purchase.
 
Dang, You're more affluent than I was at 21!

I was limited to used Rugers and Smiths at that age! I like your choice. I've got two Kimbers and love both of them.
 
Bought my first handgun (1911) when I turned 21, too. Good choice.....Mine as a series 70 Gold Cup. Had plenty of time to save up for it!
 
Thanks guys actually you can thank Bellagio casino for my fine firearm. actualll my b-day was last weekend went to vegas and i guess you can call it begginers luck i started with 200 bucks and ended with 700. I really wasnt planing on getting such a nice gun but it just happened and I doubt ill be regretting it anytime soon.

Start saving your money because pretty soon you'll start wanting another one. Maybe a Compact or Ultra?
 
When I turned 21 I bought a Colt Python. A couple of Colt 1911's followed shortly thereafter. You just gotta luv the little money pits.;) :D

The week I turned 21 I got drunk in Fargo, ND. When I finally sobered up I was in Ft. Knox, Kentuky(Disney Barraks-Cavalry).

4-year hangover:)
 
I bought a Glock 21 the day I turned 21.

A year later I have sold the Glock 21, but I have a USP9f and a USP45f now :) Gonna buy a Glock 30 soon. Messed around with a match-upgraded 10/22 for awhile too.
 
Couldn't wait until I was 21, got my license when I was 18 and bought a new Beretta 92FS off a local guy (transferred it off his license).

MY FIRST WAS A MAKAROV. I DIDN'T THINK I HAD MUCH MONEY FOR GUNS THEN. (NOW I HAVE BECOME QUITE INVENTIVE) I CERTAINLY DON'T REGRET MY PURCHASE. I STILL SHOOT IT EACH TIME OUT. I WAS LOOKING FOR THAT ELUSIVE $150 .357 POLICE TURN IN WHEN I CAME ACROSS IT.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST ONE!
