Tulammo in AK?

In an AK, will Tulammo hurt it. Whether it's a wasr, all the way to a genuine Russian AK? If cleaned after they're shot, will the gun still shoot ok? What your experience with that ammo?

That is the beauty of the AK, it will shoot anything! it's not finicky like today's AR's. I have 2 cases of Tula ammo and my WASR shoots it just fine.

I'm going to assume you mean carbon buildup and powder residue.

I have not noticed the ak being "dirty quicker" after shooting Tula ammo.

I shoot Tula, Herter's, & Wolf in my Smih & Wesson M&P15. No problems at all. I guess some ARs are finicky....but not the two I have.

The question is almost silly. The AK is probably the least picky/finicky self-loader out there. I've got thousands of rounds of steel-cased ammo (similar stuff to Tulammo, as well actual Tulammo) through the AK's I own; it's never caused any problems. Rest assured, your rifle won't know the difference between cheap ammo like Tulammo or expensive, higher end ammunition.

I was having some problems making tula go "bang" in my SKS and I was starting to wonder what I was going to do with all the boxes of it I'd accumulated from " Wally World". Then I bought a WASR a couple weeks ago and like the man said, it eats anything you put in the chamber.
