trying to identify a shotgun

I have a 12ga pump shotgun that I can not identify. It is a pump. Has a squared off back like a Browning. Has a safety on back right before stock starts that slides back and forth. On the top of the reciever when you work the pump action there a a sqaure part of metal that drops out and comes back when you finish working the action.

Are there any markings on it that look sort of like words?

Based on verbal description, I think you have a Stevens Model 520.

the only markings are on the barrell. proof tested.....12 gauge.....2-3/4 chamber. serial#325xx behind trigger guard.

Thanks guys. I did some looking and found some pictures. it is not a trench gun that i have but it is the 520.
