Trying to find a good bore light

Does anybody make good bore lights anymore?
I have tried quite a few and all had to be tweaked or held in a certain fashion just to work or would quit after a few uses. Not battery or bulb failure. I read reviews on many different brands and it appears all are mediocre as far as reliability. I would not mind paying more if they would just work and last. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thx

I have yet to find a company that makes a decent bore light. it seems the vast majority are plastic pieces of junk that are a complete waste of money. I salvaged my hoppes bore light and took the rubber cap off and now use it on a mini mag light I bought from Home Depot.

I may have just got a good one, but my STREAMLIGHT still works. They may not be made anymore. It's about 8 years old.

I never thought of that. Hoppes & Remington were the last ones I had and I threw both away. I will buy a mini mag lite & use the Hoppes adapter.

A while back I bought the add on fiber-optic from "Nite Eyze" (sp?) for my AA MagLite. It replaced every bore light I own & is small enough you can use it in a .22 bore.
