trying to find a fair price

I have a model 15 357 with serial number178*** i'm trying to find a fair price. I also have a 15-2 with serial number K615*** trying to find a fair price. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You would need to post pictures or provide a detailed description in order to get any reasonable estimate. Also I don't think a model 15 can be a .357. Depending on condition I believe the values run from $200 to $500. $200 being function but poor condition. $500 being like new with accessories

What do you mean by 357? The S&W M15 was chambered in .38 S&W Special.

A model 15 FACTORY BUILT in .357 magnum would be an extreme rarity and worth a good deal of money, IF you had the company letter, etc.

There were some 15s chambered in 357. As jim stated it needs to be lettered but otherwise it has potential to be quite rare indeed. Would love to see pictures.

Also I don't think a model 15 can be a .357

The Dan Wesson model 15 is a 357 magnum and would fall in the 178XXX serial number range.
A 15-2 was also offered by Dan Wesson but with a serial number of K615XXX it would be a S&W in 38 Special. K615XXX = 1965.

Need more info.

Jim
