Trying to decide...

STAGE 2

After much thought, the two finalists are the S&W 520 and 620. I really have a thing for blued guns and the 520 is as close as I have found for the setup that I want, and if I read S&W's site correctly it is actually a bit heavier than the 620, which is also a plus in my book. What I would really like to know is which of these is the heavier duty of the two. Does the fact that one has a carbon steel frame while the other is made of stainless steel make a difference in the long term? Any thoughts are appreciated.

They're the same revolver of different materials. The 520 weighs 37.9 vs the 620's 37.5 oz. You won't notice the .4 ounce weight difference. If my arithmetic is even close, that's a 1/4 oz.
SS has been perfected as a firearm material so it's really a personal choice. SS is better in humid or salt air places.
