Trust Worthy

So this morning I was hurrying to leave a Cowboy Match and left my gun cart setting on the range parking lot. When I learned of my mistake I rushed back. I found my cart setting exactly where I'd left it, not one item missing. I think this says a lot about the trust worthiness of gun people.

You got lucky, but next time you may not be so fortunate. While most gun owners may be good law abiding people.....there will always be one or two people at the range of questionable character, and they may not hesitate to take advantage of your mistake.

Never ever leave your guns unattended, or anything of value for that matter. All it takes is one second of carelessness and the damage is done. I learned that lesson the hard way today when my 14 month old son damaged my Omega Speedmaster. As much as I take care to keep my guns far away from him, I made the mistake of not doing the same with my watch.....Sorry, I had to vent...I am not very happy with myself right about now.:(

I left a full duffel bag of ammo (50lbs) at the front step's of my range. I was going back (25') to my car to get my guns. One of the range masters came out to have a smoke, looked at my bag with confusion. He yelled at me and said, "Is this yours?" I said casually, "Yep!" he stated that anybody could just run off with this. I said go ahead and try (50lbs)! He said, (Being about 6'1" 180lbs) I could. I said I like to see anybody run off with that.

That was funny.
