Well... In case you haven't noticed by the buzz going around, there were some very anticipated new product announcements from Ruger today. I decided to comb the websight, and see how many things I could find with a "new" tag. Some of the centerfire rifle announcements might not have been announced today, I don't follow those as closely as pistols, so if they are "old news" I apologize. Here goes. New today...

SR45
LC380
LCR-22WMR
Super Redhawk 480 Ruger
Alaskan 480 Ruger
SR1911 Commander Style
New 22/45 LITE in black with fluted barrel(Gold is gone)
10/22 Takedown with threaded barrel, and flash hider
SR22P 2 new models, one black with threaded barrel, one silver anodized
22/45 with new style grip panels
Mark III Target with new style grip panels(Stainless, and Blued models)
2 new chamberings for the American Rifle
2 new American COMPACT Rifle
Ruger Gun Guide rifle
5 new chamberings Ruger M77 Hawkeye African
New Magnum Hunter
2 New Hawkeye Predator rifles
M77 in 17 Hornet

If I remember correctly, the 77/17 has been out. I think savage and ruger were the only ones in 2012 to offer chambering for the 17HH. CZ and I am sure more will be available in 2013. CZ later this month for sure.

After seeing the highly anticipated SR45, I really am excited for the SR45c.... Hopefully.

To be honest, I'm amazed at how a gun manufacturer can still R&D, produce, and back up new products in this trying time. Most everyone is bogged down heavily just to keep up with demand moreless coming up with additional features on existing models and new models to boot.

I've purchased 5 Ruger products in the past year alone. All because they've made products that are good quality for the money, the products fall into our needs, it's made in the U.S.A, and they back them up with great customer service.

I fully agree. I love Ruger, for exactly the reasons you listed.

I also bought five Rugers this past year. All pistols for me. Three SR-22s and a SASS in .357.

Two of my buddies also picked up an SR-22 each, after plinking with mine, and a cousin bought an SR9c after using my SR9.

I used their customer service a few years ago, with the SR9 recall. The way they handled that, amazed me. I am a loyal customer for life.

I had the opportunity to talk to a couple of the Ruger brass a few months back. The cornerstone of their business model is efficiency in engineering and production.

A 10/22 Takedown that'll take a suppressor? Be still my beating heart! :)

That's great and all, but I'm still waiting for them to come out with a LCP sized .22MAG semi-auto. I think that would be just the ticket for my wife's CCW.

A semiauto in .22 WMR that feeds reliably is a tough one. There have been a few attempts, but nobody's managed it yet.

I mostly buy old Rugers but they have made some nice ones lately. All the 50th revolvers and other mid-frame designs. I bought one of the .44 Special Sheriff models. And I ended up with an SR556 because it was such a great deal. I'm really impressed with the quality on that AR. Best AR-15 I own.

The American Compact has my attention.

Efit: After a look at the full list, the Stainless GSR and 30-06 Guide Gun look cool.
