Truglo Tritium's with fiber optics

My P226 Tac-ops came with a Tru-Glo TFO front sight and I love it! It is very bright all the time and it really pop out, even without my glasses on.
 
Check out the Meprolights before you make your final decision. I found the Meprolights for my Kimber at Optics Planet for quite a bit less than the Tru Glos and the Memprolights are reported to have a longer life.
 
While, shopping around shows me that for the XD, the Truglo's are slightly less than Mepro's.

Also, Truglo's are said to be brighter in all lighting.

I am slightly worried about loosing the tubes, so I might go with just plain Truglo's w/o the tubes for only $55ish.
 
I've got TFOs on a couple of Glocks and my XD45. I'm a big fan.

I have TFO's now on my XD. Sight picture is ok. They are kind of long. This seems to be ok. They are bright, but the dot image is kind of odd in strange light like my basement or the indoor range. I think the non-FO model would have been better. I'm probably going to keep them, but I thought I would like them better.
